Travelling with Pets
Passengers travelling with pets, therapy or assistance animals must declare them at the time of booking to obtain a free ticket. Information about the animal, such as the pet passport number and its category (pet, therapy, assistance), must be provided. Each passenger can travel with a maximum of 5 animals, which must be vaccinated and have their own pet passport. The ships offer special pet cabins (PET cabins) with a maximum of 2 animals per cabin, but on FLYING DOLPHIN ferries, only animals in carriers up to 10 kg are allowed. Animals are not permitted in cabins (other than designated pet cabins), bars, restaurants or indoor public areas. When walking on the outer deck, animals must wear a muzzle and a lead. For hygiene reasons, unaccompanied animals are not accepted.
Alternative Fuel Vehicles
Passengers with alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) must declare them at the time of booking. AFVs include electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids and LPG or natural gas vehicles. For electric and hybrid vehicles, the battery charge must not exceed 40% and the temperature will be checked by staff. For gas vehicles, tanks must be filled to a maximum of 50%. Vehicles with damage to the fuel systems or batteries will not be accepted on board. It is the owner's responsibility to check the vehicle's integrity. The same measures apply to unaccompanied vehicles.
What happens if my ferry is delayed or cancelled?
In the event of a delayed or cancelled departure due to extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, passengers and vehicles may board without needing to amend their ticket if the departure is only delayed. In the event of a cancellation, the ticket will not be valid for boarding and must be replaced with a new ticket for the next available departure, subject to availability. For information on the updated departure time, it is recommended to contact the company's port offices. If you lose your ticket, you will need to purchase a new ticket and report the loss to the company's offices, providing the number of the lost ticket and the number of the newly purchased ticket. If the lost ticket is not found within one month of the departure date, the company will issue a new free ticket, corresponding to the value of the lost one.
