In some cases, during the booking process, you will be asked to complete a specific field to indicate a vehicle powered by LPG, and this information will be included on your ticket. If not requested, you must still inform the onboard staff on the day of departure and ensure your tank is no more than half full.
Can I use roaming on board?
During your crossing, mobile connectivity is provided on board via an automatic maritime roaming service, supplied and managed by a third party through satellite links. It is important to be aware that maritime roaming charges are different from standard rates applied in Italy and the European Union. Therefore, using your phone for calls, texts and data will incur additional costs, not included in your current price plan. To avoid unwanted charges, you can disable roaming on your mobile device, or you can activate airplane mode. If you wish to use only voice services, you can disable data roaming. Can I bring my assistance dog?
Moby welcomes your pets on board because we know how important they are to you. For a pleasant and safe journey, it's essential to be prepared. Your pet will need a ticket, and if you have a dog, remember a lead and muzzle. During the crossing, it is recommended that your pet wears a collar or harness with your telephone number. Before leaving, a visit to the vet is useful to check your pet's fitness to travel and to find out about vaccinations (including rabies, if necessary), worming and anti-parasite treatments. Bring a food bowl, enough food and, if needed, cat litter. If travelling abroad, check the required health documents (European pet passport, microchip, medical certificate, vaccination record) and any restrictions for certain dog breeds. Moby offers dedicated cabins for up to 3 animals. Book in advance, as availability is limited. In general, animals are not allowed in cabins (except dedicated pet cabins), seating areas and common areas, but they can stay on the outer decks.
