Access to the port area, the location of the boarding gates and road traffic at the port of Cádiz are managed by the Autoridad Portuaria or the competent regional port body, which may change routes, queuing lanes and parking areas depending on traffic and ongoing works.

If you arrive by car, follow the signs for ferry departures and your shipping company: the boarding quay may differ by company and destination, and the exact location is shown on your ticket or communicated by the company. If you are a foot passenger, go to the ticket office or check-in point indicated and use the pedestrian walkways or, where available, the port shuttle buses.

At peak times, such as summer weekends and public holidays, traffic entering the port can be heavy: allow enough time so that you do not arrive after check-in closes.
